Acro is not your typical tumbling or gymnastics class. Acro focuses on balance, stength, muscle control, and flexibility. Dancers will learn skills such as headstands, handstands, back bends, cartwheels, walkovers, chin stands, and contortion movement.
This is a class designed to help dancers and cheerleaders incorporate tumbling into their dance knowledge. Students will spend time gaining stretch and muscle control through conditioning exercises. Across the floor tumbling progressions are practiced based on students strength and ability levels.
